John Park, DMD

John Park, DMD, is a family and cosmetic dentist at Glow Dental, providing complete oral health care to people of all ages living in and around Closter, New Jersey.

Dr. Park was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, in Canada. From the time he was very young, Dr. Park knew he wanted to be a dentist. After high school, he enrolled at the University of British Columbia (also in Vancouver). 

Dr. Park excelled in the program, earning his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD). He was also awarded the British Columbia Society of Pediatric Dentists Prize, an honor bestowed on a student who shows special interest in the field of pediatric dentistry.

Before entering private practice, Dr. Park completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York.

He then joined the Yale-New Haven Hospital Pediatric Dental Program in New Haven, Connecticut, teaching dental students full-time for two years, before launching Glow Dental and another practice –– All Kid Smile Pediatric Dentistry –– in Albany, New York.

Dr. Park is passionate about continuing education. He stays abreast of new trends and treatment techniques, ensuring patients receive the highest quality care. Dr. Park proudly holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

When he isn’t developing treatment plans or caring for patients, Dr. Park enjoys spending time with his family. He’s also an active outdoorsman who enjoys hiking and exploring nature.
